Owner Pat Johnston spent ten years in residential construction management before establishing Buckingham Bath & Home Remodeling in 2010. Growing up watching his father build a family room by hand, Pat knew early that a well-crafted space changes how a family lives. That belief drives everything Buckingham Bath & Home Remodeling stands for today.
Pat brings a relationship-first approach to every project. This isn’t a company where you talk to a salesperson and never see them again. Pat is present from your first phone call through your final walkthrough, on-site every day, making sure your home is built to his standards and your vision.
Built for you on the values of Loyalty, Excellence, Value, Empowerment, and Legacy.
Your project is guided by the owner himself, from the first conversation through the final walkthrough. That means clear answers, thoughtful oversight, and the confidence that every detail is being handled with care and accountability. When you hire Buckingham, you get Pat.
The craftsmen working in your home are long-standing, trusted professionals, not unfamiliar faces cycling in and out. Many of Pat’s trade partners have worked alongside him for up to 25 years and have been trusted enough to work in his own family’s homes.
You always know what’s happening, what comes next, and what to expect. Timelines, investment, and decisions are communicated openly through your JobTread client portal, so you can move forward with clarity and confidence, without surprises.

A straightforward, proven process designed to keep you informed and confident from day one.
It starts with a conversation. You and Pat will talk through your vision, what’s been frustrating you about the space, and what you’d love to see instead. Pat will review photos of your home, discuss your budget, and give you a clear sense of what’s possible before you ever commit to anything.
Pat comes to you. He’ll walk through the space firsthand, see exactly where the pain points are, and get a real feel for what your home needs. This is where ideas start turning into a real plan.
This is where your vision takes shape. Pat presents three tailored options, A, B, or C, covering colors, materials, and design direction based on everything you’ve shared. You’ll review inspiration photos together, refine the details, and once you’ve landed on the right fit, Pat builds a formal proposal in JobTread so you can see exactly where your investment is going.
Pat and his team get to work, and you’re never left wondering what’s happening. Throughout construction, Pat keeps you updated personally via phone and text, addresses anything that comes up in real time, and makes sure every detail is done right the first time.
By the time you reach this step, there shouldn’t be any surprises, because Pat has been communicating with you the whole way through. He’ll walk the finished space with you, answer any questions, and make sure you have everything you need to care for your new space for years to come.
